After waiting 2 mounts for Philips to put out a new firmware to correct the losing of the digital channel settings and only having 2 weeks of my 90 day return left at Walmart I exchanged it for the same. That was 8/15/2007 , the new one has the same original firmware

and same manufacture date
APRIL 2007
This one is rock solid on digital and analog, haven't lost any channels on cable.
If this one works and the other one didn't does that mean some of these have bad tuners ?
