I wonder how much money Warner could extort from the BDA to NOT go HD-DVD exclusive at this time? I mean, Warner going to HD would be a bad bad bad bad blow right now to the Blubois.

Warner Bros. went from HD DVD exclusive to neutral after Paramount went from HD DVD exclusive to neutral. I think it is possible that Warner could go exclusive. But not as likely, Warner enjoys being able to make all those press releases "Best selling HDM movie of '06 Superman Returns, The Departed best of the first half of '07... 300 is now the best of '07"

If Warner starts announcing titles for HD DVD only we could see a switch, but probably not until next year.

Yeah, I don't see Warner flip-flopping back either, but they could still blackmail the BDA even if they have no intention of going HD-DVD exclusive.

More likely, Warners itself will start shopping around the Studios for its Total HD format, which is looking more and more like a winner the longer this format war nonsense continues.
