I bought a new DMR-EZ47V this weekend. So far, so good, except...I set the clock time manually, but it loses the setting whenever I turn the unit off. Every time I tunr it on, it's blinking "12:00A". So far, Panasonic has been no help...Man, what a terrible tech support web site.
Any idea why this is happening?
Do you turn it off with just the power button on the remote or front of the EZ47, so the clock light still shows up? Sounds like you're cutting power altogether, like with a surge suppressor or 6-way strip?

Not to insult your intelligence, but did you hit the ENTER button after setting the clock so it 'takes'? I have the DMR EZ27 and have had no trouble with the clock, it just won't keep the digital channels loaded.....

wabjxo: I'm turning it off using the remote, not the power strip.
sap2007: Yes, I'm hitting "Enter". It shows the correct time until I turn it off.

I have the EZ-17 with auto clock and DST enabled and I have no problem with the time display. I also have no problem with keeping digital channels in the memory.
