Skip the BIC ... The rest are all excellent.

WOW, that is funny the BIC was even mentioned????? (if you plan on spending for a HSU or SVS)???

Yeah, SKIP the BIC.
Although for a budget sub, it is great (and by chance, yes I have had it, I think Craig has had one to), THAT is all it is, A BUDGET sub.

To stay away from a useless words war, I say the same exact as craig. The others are fine, and will give excellent bass.

Granted, I am partial to HSU.:o

so which one out of the 4 will be the best for mostly movies, not really any music

going form a cheap onkyo htib sub so any of them will be a huge step up

Isn't the ED A5-350 in that price range? That thing would be a better option if it is, ED makes great subs.

All good subs. I would go with the HSU VTF-2
MK3. Dr Hsu has been in the sub business since
1991, and turns out excellent product(s).

SVS and eD are also good subs, from what I've
read. Just recommending HSU cause I've owned
2 VTF-2's and now a HSU VTF-3 MK3 with turbo,
so I'm biased...Vardo

the ed a5-350 is a 15"er i believe, i havnt really looked at it, just assumed that the box would be a good bit bigger

between the svs subs, which is better the nsd12 or PCi 20-39?
