Imitation

Ok guys I've got a dilemma. I just recently got a pair of RVX-54's for a REALLY good price, 300 apiece brand new. I couldn't pass them up for that price. I have them on a yamaha 1700 receiver and they sound good... to about 75hz which is the bottom of their rated response. So obviously there is a big hole at the bottom of my music, movies and games.
So the wife and I live in a loft apt that has about 18ft ceilings over the living room and the air volume is beyond huge since the apt is about 20ish ft wide as well. So at this point I've pretty much conceded getting a sub that can completely fill the space for 2 reasons, it would probably be out of my price range and I'd rather not have neighbors complaining. So I'm really looking for a sub that can fill in the bottom end at moderate volumes at most.
Now here's the kicker and final requirements. The 54's are silver cause those were the only ones on sale and to have a WAF above zero the sub needs to be silver too and not HUGE physically. I'm looking at about 500 TOPS, and would be happier at 400 bucks for it.
Anyone have any ideas? I've looked at SVS and they have some silver ones but they are borderline large, the only klipsch sub in silver is the 10" reference. Does eD have the ability to paint their subs silver? Or do they only come in that black color? Any other suggestions?
