I've been thinking of adding a processor to Pearl. Bypassing internal scaler, but i don't know where to start. There are scalers out there that cost hundreds and thousands of dollars. Please help me in finding a right one and also let me know the benefits of scalers.
Is it necessary to use a scaler to enhance the 1080P image further by several notches. I will welcome your advises. Thanks!

P.S. My source is a PS3 and HDDVD and HD Dish Network.
