I've already had 3 out of 3 pending BD clients (we don't really retail hardware, but do systems and whole houses) drop BD players from their systems (and 2 asked about HDDVD players). Is any other installer/designer seeing this?

I have seen about 13,097 HD DVD clients return their players and go with Blu-ray players (we do hardware) thanks to the Fox announcement.
LOL, i almost spit my coffee.

I don't get it. Why in the world would somebody pay a ton of money for an expensive custom home theater and not go dual format?
I can see the vast majority of people holding off completely, but not them.

Yep the fallout is already hurting total HDM.
HDM= laserdisc, or maybe SACD and DVD Audio.
Also the fallout is hurting Paramount by pissing off a core fanbase as well as Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.
Thats what you get when you make a deal with the devil (microsoft).
No need to start a new thread when there are plenty of Paramount threads already going.
