I have a question (I may have missed it in this thread). Ive got a certain level that there are 2 little sisters left and no big daddys (hit pause and it only shows the girls faces and thats it). Is there anyway to still catch them or am I screwed because they arent walking around with a Rosie?


That's odd. I've never seen a little sister without a Big Daddy in tow. I know the BDs re-spawn over and over, but I didn't think the Little Sisters would. Did you kill the BDs and forgot to harvest the Little Sisters?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can get to them without taking out their Big Daddy first.

I was confused by this at first as well. The little sisters that you see on the save screen ("little sisters on this level") with big daddies are those yet to be harvested/saved. Those who appear by themselves (just the girls faces) are those you have already dealt with.

The pictures without the BDs means you have dealt with the Little Sisters. There are three different icons at the pause screen: LS with BD, LS with white background (harvested), and LS only (rescued).

Good question about the little sisters because I was wondering the same thing.

That question ties into the question I have, but now knowing what the girls faces means on the pause screen I can check when I get home.

Anyway, I was fighting a BD with a LS in tow, and I just about had BD beat until I died. When I came back to him, I killed him but the LS wasn't there. Later on, coming back through the area I heard her talking and she climbed up into the hole in the wall. I waited for her but she never came back out. Is this a LS that I missed, and will she come back out?

The Big Daddy's respawn. Simply follow one around, he'll eventually go to one of the holes and summon a sister.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I never paid enough attention to that and thought thats how many were still out there. Thats good to know.

I think what happened was you died near the hole in the wall and the BD was on his way to lift up the LS and put her back. You died and he went back to what he was doing, which was putting her back in. If you follow them around you will notice that they not only summon them out of the holes, but also put them back into it. The best bet is to try to find a BD alone and follow him until he summons a LS. Otherwise make sure there isn't a hole nearby when you attack. That way you don't run the risk of what I think happened in your case. Another way is to just not die...
