I had began discussing this in another topic, but I wanted to make it it's own thread. Anyhow, I have a dead 1251 that I already pulled lenses off to replace the scratched and glued ones on my 1270. I also put the L(error code LED) board from the 1251 into the 1270 successfully. Now, I want to put the Y board from the 1251 into the 1270, but when I do, the convergence will not line up. I hit overflow before they are converged. If I put the old Y board from the 1270 in, it works fine. Also, would I gain/lose anything by putting the DA and DB board from the 1251 into the 1270? I also did a full factory reset with the 1251 Y board, and the problem still remains. (By pressing the SW2 button on the Y board).

Changing the metal lense spacers from the 1251 to the 1270 solved the problem. Not sure why, but it worked.
