I turn it on and the board on the far left (facing it from the back) with a lot of LED lights makes clicking sounds (each click seems to light some of the LEDs and then they go blank; repeat). What is going on here? I can't get any picture now.
Thanks

Hello
The low voltage power section is held down, most likely there is a shorted cap, chip or transistor somewhere in the projector. Try unplugging neckboard cables or removing boards in back until you isolate the section that is shorted.

It can also be the LVPS itself. I've got spares, or can test yours.
I wish I knew where the LVPS is. lol.
I'll get back to you on this I guess. I don't really want to deal with it right now. I put it away and just replaced it completely with my Sharp DT-500. I was wanting to use it for DVDs and just use my DT-500 for HD material since I fear the lamp blowing (I usually run it for at least 10 hours when I turn it on so it doesn't get too many lamp strikes), but if I fix any of my CRTs it's going to be my NEC 6PG first since it only needs a C-Board or C-Drive (whatever it's called). :D
Thanks for the replies.

Check the 'tips' section of my website. It's a website all about.... umm... CRTs.
:)
Ok, I have been using my Sharp DT-500 DLP for about a year or so now and I've loved it, but it died on me! GRRR! Power supply went out and I'm wanting to go back to using my ECP-4500+. So, I need to get it fixed.
I suppose I will try Tim's suggestion first and if what Curt says it is can I have you test it for me?
Do you still have a spare LVPS, Curt?
