I recently purchased a Hr 10-250 to replace my other HR 10-250 which had a bad hard drive. I am using an HDMI cable to connect to the Infocus 7200. When I connect the two the picture will not lock...keeps searching for signal..grabs it..shows it and then goes through the same process again. This did not happen with my old Hr 10-250. Furthermore the new Hr10-250 works over HDMI with my lcd upstairs. So, what could be causing this...HDCP?
Very confused and frustrated.
THanks for any help in advance.

Did you by chance do a firmware upgrade? I had to do an upgrade to my 7205 to accept HDMI.
Well, I have not done a firmware upgrade but the 7200 worked fine yesterday with my older HR 10-250. It is the one I just purchsed that will not lock. Wonder if there is an firmware upgrade for the HR 10-250 that affects the HDCP or something like that? Or if it was an HDCP issue would there just be no picture at all.

This was the same thing mine was doing, even after the firmware update. Turned out to be something wrong on the connector to the projector. I say something because I don't know what was wrong. Infocus repaired under warranty and never sent a slip explaining what they did.
How long is the HDMI cable? I have a 30 ft. Infocus DVI cable connected to my equipment and projector, and after a couple of years, projector quit communicating with equipment. I had to put an HDMI amp in the line to get picture back.
I have a similar problem and its driving me nuts..
My 7200 will not lock in as well. I have a Pioneer 400 and am using
a HDMI-DVI connector. No picture

I thought it might be the cable because it is a 30' Hdmi but i tried a 3' hdmi and it still didnt work. The hr10-250 with the 3' cable did work on my lcd tv. So it must be something to do with the Infocus.
