Having some problems with my NEC ISS 6010.
Either the green or blue color keeps dropping out intermittently.
I've tested both RGBHV inputs I have in it and it does the same on both.
I suspect the output module is at fault.
Does anybody know which component in the output module that are prone on failing? Or should I just replace the output module altogether and be done with it?
Or should I throw out the NEC switch and install an Barco RCVDS05 instead?

Reseat everything and clean the connections. Turn the VR on the output card also to clean. While your at it tighten the screws on the power supply board (ground). They are not known for failing. Also check BNCs between ISS and projector. Doug

Hmm...I thought those Barco switchers were not well regarded at all (?).

I would try and stay with the 6010.

Conny,
Get a Sony PC-3000 (if you can find one) :D

Thanks Doug, will look into that. Yeah they don't seem to fail often judging by the minimal amount of threads I've found about them.

Mark: Not sure where you got that idea from? RCVDS05 specs are up to 300MHz RGB Bandwidth and as far as I know they have a clean signal path?

Daniel: Yeah they look sweet but I haven't seen one for sale for sensible money in a very long time. If you know where I can get one pleaso hook me up. =)
