View Full Version : What should Paramount do with BOG BD discs?
Technicolor 08-22-07, 04:09 PM It seems that the Paramount and Dreamworks decision to drop blu came just a few days before the release of Blades of Glory. Now that the thing is done and everybody's happy (with the exception of a few few at Amazon), Comes the problem: what to do with the Blades of Glory Blu-ray discs that were produced. I feel Paramount will enjoy some advice from us. Those who read my posts know that this is not a joke :D Well... anyway... what do you think Paramount should do??

Make a giant campfire, and make smores!:D
Dump them in the pit with Atari 2600 copies of E.T.
cybereality 08-22-07, 04:12 PM Probably sit in a warehouse for 18 months collecting dust.
davewolfs 08-22-07, 04:13 PM I vote that they should be burned. A friendly video of the burning should then be sent over to the gestapo (admins) at blu-ray.com.
Technicolor 08-22-07, 04:24 PM Now vote. :D

That was a lousy game! LOL
soremekun 08-22-07, 04:29 PM Sell them and don't make anymore.
Where is the option for "All of the above"?? :p I would have chosen that, instead of "Send them to Disney and LionsGate ...".
Thanks for the chuckle, though. :D
kevivoe 08-22-07, 04:36 PM Let them disk rot into obvilion.
jwebb1970 08-22-07, 05:50 PM As I said in the other, poll-less thread (and was told that it was wrong to suggest;))...
Send 'em to Bill Hunt. Auctioning them off via the Bits for big $$ should ease his obvious pain.
ottscay 08-22-07, 05:52 PM Wow...at one time wasn't there an opinion expressed more than once that it was Blu-ray fans that consisted of imature gamers?
Jason One 08-22-07, 06:12 PM Here's another poll: What should be done with this useless thread?
My vote: Delete it.
B Leisle 08-22-07, 06:12 PM Glue them with HD DVD discs and leave Warner angry for releasing TotalHD discs before them.
LMAO!!
MichaelHDDVD 08-22-07, 06:16 PM I was gonna vote for the TotalHD option (lmao! get Warner angry!) but I like the ninja weaponry.
Edit: However I wouldn't mind using the BD version of Face/Off as a coaster, that's a good use for scratch resistant coating.
Funny, the initials are really appropriate for this movie (if you are British that is).
bog: Noun. A toilet. [1800s]
So I guess I'll vote other and opt to flush it down the bog.
Kram Sacul 08-22-07, 06:35 PM Put them on the shelf with the other Paramount BRDs and let people fight for them.
ClevelandRob 08-22-07, 07:31 PM Save them and package them with Blades of Glory 2 BD in 18 months. :D
MichaelHDDVD 08-22-07, 07:36 PM Save them and package them with Blades of Glory 2 BD in 18 months. :D
It is currently a indefinite commitment stated by Alan Bell... The Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Paramount Pictures The 18 month myth has been debunked
