Hi Guys,

I finaly decide to setup my Home Theater. I have had the Pioneer Elite VSX-49TX and Bose Acoustimass 15 Home Theater Speaker System. I need to run speaker wires and banana splitters in wall... I need all the guidance I can get from what kind of wires to what kind of splitter and wall switch. I appreciate your help guys... Also if any one could guide me on to where to find the mic for my Pioneer Elite vsx-49tx. Which speaker wires I should use to run in wall or whats the best out there...

Thanks

Roy

Hi Guys,

I need to run speakr wires and banana splitters ...what kind of splitter and wall switch
These fora strongly support the use of 12, 14 or 16 AWG wire from HD or monprice or whatever is easy and cheap. CL -2 or 3 in wall rated wire in the wall zip cord or outdoor lighting wire if not in a wall.

Tell us what you want to do more clearly. I have no idea what a banana splitter is other than a knife. Why do you want a switch?

Also if any one could guide me on to where to find the mic for my Pioneer Elite vsx-49tx.

Have you tried to order one from Pioneer? http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/

Thanks for the update Ill post the pics of the room online later.... I dont have room prewired for surround and I want to run the speaker cables in the wall through ceiling... Thats all..

Banana splitter is the one listed on this site Its just a Decora Style Wall Plate for 5 Speakers

All I want to do is install the speakers in wall... Thats all.

Thanks guys

That plate and a plastic low voltage box (usually orange colored and open at the back), like thishttp://www.hardwarestore.com/media/product/102841_front200.jpgwill be fine.
