Consider this;

IF there was money (or whatever other consideration you like) exchanged for Paramount and Dreamworks to go exclusive, Warner simply -has- to know that they're in line for a big payday from either side.

If they talk to the appropriate people, they could exchange their neutrality for some serious benefits to their bottom-line.

If Warner isn't in talks with both sides right now, I'd very surprised. They may end up benefiting the most from all of this.

I'm sure HD-DVDs bill won't need to be as steep as BDs

The problem here is that Warner has from the start leaned toward HD DVD. They are neutral, but they obviously do have a preference. Management groups at these companies all differ. The fact that one might sell its allegiance does not mean that they all would. Currently I do not think Warner is in the mood to change, and I expect them to remain neutral. However, if they did change, it would certainly be toward HD DVD and not Blu-ray. And if they did change, I do not think that in their case it would be for money.

I agree.
