Hi, I put up the chief RPA-184 mount on the threaded pipe for my RS-1, which is due in soon. My question is (for wiring purposes), how much of the back of the projector hangs off the back of the mount? I'm trying to figure out if I need to run new wire or not. It seems less hangs off the front and more off the back (measured from the mounting pipe), but I don't know for sure. My component cables measure about 15 inches when routed through the back of the SLB bracket and I'm wondering if that will be OK.

I know it's a weird question, but I would appreciate any help!

Thanks!

TL5,
It is 4" from the back of the plate to the back of the RS1, give or take an 1/8of an inch. It's tough to measure.

I have the same mount. I just measured my cables. You need a full 24" of wire exiting the ceiling if you thread it through the RPA-184 and curve (sweeping) them around to the back of the projector. You can get away w/ less if you use right angle adapters, or have the wires exit the ceiling near the back of the projector (and not through the mount).
