Hello All

I would like to propose a poll that could perhaps shed some light on this now phantom 8500 card. I know that Curt's site has the third party sales but don't know what the deal is with pre-orders paid, (in April to moome).

Unknown quantities of these cards have been shipped to their customers, yet here I sit with no moola or card. Perhaps the poll will tell who has received their cards and that way lead to a card count.

My big questions are, Is there still stock available?, how long before delivery could be expected?

I have not had any luck trying to communicate with Moome, here or email and that would constitute six attempts so far. I'm sure he is a stand-up kind of guy, but whats the deal????:confused: I did not have any comms issues before as I've noted in other threads. Is he away on holiday or something? It would be quite helpful if more information was at hand.

That's wierd, I paid for my card about 4 weeks ago (through Curt's) and got it 2 weeks later. There must have been a glitch somewhere in the ordering system, maybe Kal can help? :confused:

Wow !! That was quick Draganm. I have been admiring all Mike's screen shots with the new card and its just making me all the more anxious.

Have anyone here in Canada received cards yet?

By the way. This is pretty relevant. I have gone into Paypal and in accounts found that payments were received by Moome. So no, there is no payment problem in case anyone is wondering.

Also , I have seen guys mention on the forum that tracking numbers are issued. I have not had the joy of receiving those yet.:(

Ordered mine Aug 20 from the other site. I recall Kal saying there was 34 or 35 left in a thread about 3 weeks ago. It shows the sony cards as sold out but not the Ehome, so I guess there are some left as I have not been informed otherwise.

Moome has responded to each and every email I have sent to him in the past years. Usually within a day.

I received mine about 3 weeks ago and i had the same feelings as you did. I was one of the people who had made his deposit for the preorders earlier in the year.
When i heard they were shipping and my inquiries and emails were never answered i got a little worried that my order had slipped thru the cracks. Came home from work the next day and there it was! Moome and those people involved in the development of this card get two thumbs up from me for a great product but his communications leave something to be desired. I suggest you post a message for Moome on Curts site as well.

I never received a tracking number but i did noticed one or two people posting that they did. I don't know if they were special or there was some different circumstances that Moome provided one(could have been a replacement for a lost shipment or a replacement unit).:)
All i can say is keep trying his email. He may be just away for a few days.

I just said that I got an e-mail from Moome yesterday saying that my Marquee card would ship next week. Guess what arrived today, on Sunday no less?? The Moome card.:D

says he was in Japan but no sooner did I reply his mail then he went offline again. I guess he must be quite busy.

How do you get Sunday delivery Bob? Was is a courier delivery or p.o box or something.:D

Ordered mine about 3 weeks ago, got it a few days ago, instaled now and works great!

He has always, emailed quickly.

Moome in Japan now on vacation (this week only I think) so email's been a bit more sporatic than usual (and he's usually busy enough normally that it's not that great to begin with).

I do know that he of course intended on shipping out all orders in the order they were received, so hopefully yours is already in the mail.

To make things easier in the future, I've asked Moome to always email people with their tracking # when the order ships. Unfortunately since he's so busy, I don't think he's always following through.

This is one of the reasons why there will never be such early pre-orders again. Whenever pre-orders for Moome products come about, it will be done approximately 1-2 months in advance (at the most) once the product details are well known and Moome's placed an order with the factory - not before!

Yes, there still may be delays of course, but not 6-8 months worth.

Thanks for the response. Yes Moome pm'd me and thats exactly what he wrote. He is/was in Japan and to his credit, I do believe he is looking into doing a delivery. I am also partially to blame, or rather my SP :mad:, because he did say that he emailed me and the mail was bumped back to him: (explained this to Moome as well). In fact today required a modem reboot again. I think I will have to return this pos to them and ask for a new one or better yet , obtain a new service provider.
