Looking for someone in Montreal have a Sony VPH-1272 etc setup with a Moome & HD DVD, that my friend can takle a look at. He has a 1272 and wants to see whether it's worth getting a moome card & a HD DVD player for it.

I don't have the Moome card, but I have a 1251 with all the circuit boards out of a 1272 with a Toshiba A2 running 1080i, and it looks amazing. I was a little leary of getting the HD-dvd player, but I'm sooo glad I did now. I could only imagine the moome card's gamma circuit would only make the picture that much better. It is a huge increase over upconverted DVD. For sure.
