Machina Dynamica's Teleportation Tweak is not covered by our 30-day money back guarantee

Read: At best, Machina Dynamia's Teleportation Tweak is a crock of bull ____

I'm sure the same type of people that would "buy into" 419 scams would "buy into" this.

kind of like everything else they make? The thing being that there is always someone who would stick up for a product but I am still waiting for someone to do that same for this.

I've always figured MD is just an experiment or a joke; someone wants to see how ridiculous the BS needs to be before there's no one who will take it seriously anymore.

I agree that the man who runs MD is pure genius and he probably laughs everytime he looks at his bank account.

I filed a complaint against machina dynamica with the Better Business Bureau so we will see if anything can be done.

Well after the 30 days I emailed BBB to see what has been done and they emailed me this.

As our email of August 2 indicated, the information included in your
complaint was referred to the Ad Review department for action. Once again,
thank you for providing us this information. As Ad Review issues are
matters between the BBB and the company, the person providing information
leading to a review is not party to the dispute and, as such, will not
receive updates on the investigation beyond what may be included in the
companies public report. Also please be aware that because of the nature of
the concerns involved Ad Review investigations customarily take longer than
30 days.

So when we see that this "tweak" is taken off of the web site then we will be for sure that this worked.

BBB Online has this to say about Machina Dynamica--

We are attempting to develop information on this company.
At the present time we do not have enough information to issue a report.

http://search.bbb.org/searchForm.aspx?mode=Search can be useful in getting a rough idea of how well a business handles complaints.

I don't know about that. One has to read AA to see some of their previous products market gains:D No end to what some audiophiles will buy into:D

The BBB is not a magic bullet. If the company is a member, the worst that can happen is being kicked out. If he's not a member, they have very little leverage -- it's just a trade organization with no legal status different from you or me.

What you say about BBB is true, after all the member businesses fund it. But they can exert more presure than you may be able to do, if nothing else because they publish the complaint resolution stats on-line and for member firms they offer arbitration and mediation and conciliation service. These can be a good deal. Let's face it for all the people are quick to say sue the bastards, most of us don't, so these services can help.

You have got to be kidding me that this is a real company. All that's missing is the tin foil pyramid hats...

My personal favorite are the Brilliant Pebbles:

http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina17.htm

Although it's not clear whether the Pebbles are really smart, or highly reflective. ;)

"Over a period of time, Machina Dynamica developed four sizes of Brilliant Pebbles, each addressing specific problems in the room and system: The 3-inch Large Brilliant Pebbles is intended for speaker cabinets, tube traps, room corners, satellite TV receivers and output transformers of tube amps. The 2 inch "Mini" Brilliant Pebbles is intended for the top of CD/DVD/SACD players, top of speaker cabinets and proximity to small electron tubes. The "Mikro" BP (about 1/4 the volume of the "Mini") is intended for proximity to electron tubes, on Quantum ElectraClear & Symphony line stabilizers and attached to interconnects and digital cable. The newer Extra Large size was developed for the corners of larger rooms and for the top of speaker cabinets."

If they work so well in the corners of your room, just imagine how great they will work if you stuff them in your ear canals...

Here they are for sale on Audiogon...unbelievable:

I think that this product is way underpriced. For $60, how could anyone take it seriously? The company needs to up the price by an order of magnitude or two. :D
