My roomate has an old Mag 51MP392H/17, the picture on is is really bright, even when like a black screen. Pretty Much is there anyone out there that can help me calibrate the colors, brightness, etc to get a better picture on it?

Also would anyone know where to get a new glare shield, assuming thats what is cracked. The outermost layer in the screen? He had cracked it a while ago, and wants to finally fix/replace it.

Since it is an older set, is there anything to do to update or clean/fix to make it a better looking set other than calibrating the settings? Thanks for any help on this older HD set.

i know this is an old thread but i have the same tv and i have overscan and the colors are dull and the picture isnt as sharp as when i first bought it is there anything i can due to fix this i went through every option on the tv menu.
