I just got the URC rf20 and it is working ok except for the volume. I have my receiver in a cabinet so I am using the RF to IR. When I press volume up or down it sends the command once, but I want to be able to hold the button for continuous volume up/down.

Can I do this?

Reteach the command, but hold it while you're teaching.

Is this remote a preprogrammed/learning remote only or can you actually program it from a computer like the Home Theater Master line?

The RF20 isn't a computer programmable remote.
