Long time luker first post. Great forum with great info.

Her is my situation. After reading the remote exender thread I ordered the Next generation remote extender (http://estore.websitepros.com/1373698/Detail.bok?no=8). Got is a few days ago, charged the battery and installed it in my remote for my Vizio 47" LCD. It worked exactly as stated and I was very impressed. Today when I got home for lunch the remote was dead, as if it had no power, no backlight no red indicator light. So I tried all the obvious changing batteries, even put two brand new AA's in it and nothing. Spent about an hour trying to figure it out and finally got it working again by holding down the power button as I put the batteries in. That seemed to getting it working as it should. Then again tonight I was trying to turn the DVD player on (in the hall closet) and the remote got "stuck". The back light and the red indicator light stayed on. It didn't mater what I did I couldn't get it to turn off until I took a battery out. When I put it back in, dead again. Did the hold power insert battery thing and now it works again.

So do you think this is just coinsidence that my remote is dieing a few days after geting the extender or could the RF transmissions be messing with the remote? Anyone with this remote extender ever had or heard of this problem?
TIA
