I did search for this on the forums so apologies in advance if this has been discussed/documented elsewhere.
I've had an RS-1 for a few months now and am at about 100 hours on the bulb. This weekend, I went to watch a movie on my combo HD/Blu Ray DVD player and the RS-1 showed "no input signal" on the screen. I tried the DirecTV HD DVR (HR 20) and it, too, came up as "no input signal." The sound for both played just fine through my system, it was just the picture that isn't appearing.
I did all the usual stuff:
- unplugged the projector
- unplugged the receiver
- unplugged the HDMI connections at both ends
- switched HDMI ports at both ends
I am at a loss. Obviously, at this point, I am giving up on the chance to be able to watch anything over the next few weeks. My installer is coming over in the next day or so to take a look, but I suspect I'll be told that the projector has to go in for service. If anyone has any diagnostic advice, it would be greatly appreciated. (BTW - running a new HDMI cable is out of the question as this system is installed in a finished basement. The installer would have to fish a new cable through the walls for that to work).
Thanks in advance!
