Is the 150 worth double the price of the 6070? Where does the 6010 fall in terms of cost? I am trying to figure out best bang for the buck.
I saw a 6070 at Sams yesterday and the picture looked much nicer than the new Pany 50" 1080p model. I own and have loved my Pany but after seeing the 6070, I am a new Pioneer fan.
Would someone please PM what they have paid for the above models with some advice as to which to pick!

I agree with you the 6070 looks fantastic. If you need the screen size, check out the 6070 over the 6010. You will save nearly 1.5 times the cost of a 6010...

More importantly, how far would you plan to sit from a 60" set, that helps determine a few things, such as the importance of 1080p for your viewing.

I agree with you. 1080p is dependent on seating position more than anything else...

Mikeyf,
What do you have? The 150FD is worth twice the price of the 6070! It's that good?
The 6010 and 150FD Elite are superior displays compared to the 6070. The contrast level/black ratio, color saturation, tweakability and extra options make it well worth the price increased IMO. But only you can determine if the price increase is justified. Can you compare the two display in person?
Even at that distance you will still get the PQ benifits the added contrast peformance of an 8G (6010) over a 7G (6070) Pio, taking resolution out of the equation...
Get a 6010....

Would love to hear it's on a truck heading this way next week. It will be my first HDTV so I can't answer your question. I was a SONY SXRD fan until I watched my friend's Pio Elite 1540 a few times. That's last years version of the 150FD. Now I'm a plasma believer. Me being me, I had to get this years version. Also, I'm a firm believer in pro calibration. The Elite has more tweakability and I like that.
I was going to go with the 6010 for awhile but I decided eventually to get the Elite. You can't go wrong either way.

Well the Wife said she would be ok with the cost of the 6070 but not the 6010 and/or 150FD. So it's off to the store to get the 6070.
