I was reading through some of the old posts last night, and found that there were numerous complaints concerning the prices of several TV shows (primarily the various Trek shows). Just to give some comparative idea, I wasted a bunch of my time pointlessly making a list of various TV shows and their current, Amazon price per episode. I included the top 10 list on Amazon, as well as the DVDs that I want to own, just to give some perspective. All are calculated based on full series, unless a number is given after the show, in which case it is for that season only.

Rome: 2 $7.50/episode
Voyager $6.43/episode
Andromeda $4.32/episode
Dexter: 1 $3.58/episode
Crusade $2.95/episode
TNG $2.95/episode
DS9 $2.95/episode
Stargate Atlantis $2.73/episode
Grey's Anatomy: 3 $2.60/episode
Babylon 5 $2.45/episode
Dark Angel $2.27/episode
Heroes: 1 $2.26/episode
Roswell $2.20/episode
Charmed: Final Season $1.95/episode
The Office: 3 $1.87/episode
Stargate SG1 $1.73/episode
Corner Gas: 4 $1.63/episode
MASH $1.20/episode

Voyager may be fairly high on the list, but TNG and DS9 really aren't that high, considering that similar shows are selling in the same range (Stargate Atlantis is just 12 cents less per ep, and Andromeda is over a dollar more per ep).
