Greetings,
I have a Samsung HL-P4663W that causing me much heartache.

Here is what happened:
Was watching TV one day (DVI connection to HTPC) when the color and picture went kind of hazy and then it turned off and came back on with no problems.

After a few more days, the TV just turned off! No warning, no 'Fan2' sign or anything. It was still on it's original lamp so I decided it was lilkely the lamp that went out and ordered another one. The new lamp arrived (samsungparts.com) and I replaced it and here is what happens.

1) Boot up sound
2) Lamp Button Blinks for about 30 secs.
3) Reboots (no bootup sound)
4) Lamp button blinks
5) turns off with all three lights blinking.

Any thoughts? Is it the ballast? The color wheel, the fan? At this point, is it even worth spending another penny fixin?
