I'm looking for a dlp rp set at least 55" in size. It'll need to be able to handle plenty of light in the room and good angles. Any advice on such a product? So far I've looked at some Samsungs and Toshibas and they both look pretty good.

I cant say much about the toshibas but I recently picked up a sammy 6188 and I am in love with this set additionally I got a great deal on it.. I am now enjoying both HD-DVD and BD on this set.

The Mit 57833 and 65833 are very nice, have a anti glare screen , and has good angles, great PQ , 120Hz, and 4 HDMI 1.3 hook ups, I have it in a room with a lot of light (daytime) and looks fine.

I agree with the Mits choice but I think for the majority of people the 734 series is a better buy than the 833 series. The new Sony A3000 is also nice but not DLP. By this time next year your DLP choices will be only Mits and Sammy.

Yes, you are right, for most it is, but i pick the 833 (i have both) as it seens to do better in rooms with lots of light!
