My projector has 60 hrs use and suddenly developed a dim red spot, about the size of a grapefruit in the upper center of the picture. I tried to take a photograph but my digicam is not sensitive enough to do so. The spot is only visible when black or dark colors are displayed, I cannot see it with most colors including white. The edges are mostly fuzzy but one edge has fairly sharp line to it. Any ideas? Rather annoying when watching 2.35 movies as it is always present although not terrifically bright. The lens is clean, I use a 113 inch HP, it appears on all video sources.

Sounds like a dust blob on the panels.

It's really a shame, the year is 2007 and still one little dust speck can ruin the picture.

So a dust blob can dissappear depending on image displayed. Any one with experience cleaning these panels?
