Just getting into all these sacd's, and was wondering where one might be able to find Nina Simone recordings. It seems sacd's are lacking in the library offerings. Is that a limitation of the original recording, artist rights, record company, etc?

Try http://sa-cd.net, it's a nice SACD database that will provide links to sites you can buy any particular SACD that they list (usually ones that are still being manufactured). Doesn't look like any Nina Simone SACDs are available. Unfortunately SACDs never caught on and not many new ones seem to be coming out (exception of Genesis!). Probably has to do with Joe 6-pack's lack of interest in the format, due to his lack of HiFi audio or b/c he is completely satisfied with Red Book CDs.

That's depressing. Haven't found anything. At least I still have a few LP's of hers to tide me over.
