I'm looking into getting a new HDMI receiver that does video switching, cross switching, upscaling, etc.. I like the Pioneer 91txh, but noticed it's HDMI 1.3a

I've heard the 1.3a plug is smaller. True? Will my AX100U hook up to 1.3a cable??

Thanks in advance :-)

Also, if this will work, where's the best place to get a 1.3a cable that's 30ft long?? I looked at blue jeans, but they have no mention of what version their HDMI cabling is...

Jberylec:

The AX100 is not HDMI 1.3a compliant (It's in the manual). However, an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable.....There is not a different version of cable needed for the different HDMI standards. Do a search on HDMI cables and I am sure you will find the info that you need. Good luck!
