What are the chances that we'd ever get Young Indiana Jones on HD?

The boxed sets are starting to come out in October and December of this year.

Does anyone know what it was filmed on? Would there be widescreen versions available?

With the SD-DVD version being $120, I can only imagine what the HD version would be.

Young Indiana Jones was shot on 16mm. I'm not sure if it would be presented in widescreen, it depends on how it was handled for international territories.

Lucasfilm controls this series, therefore it will be a long time before it shows up on any HD format.
