I recently purchased an AVL300 specifically to control hidden components. I set everything up and began using the remote. Since day one I have had to find a sweet spot to get the OMNILINK to detect the signal from the remote. For example: 7 ft from the OMNILINK I hold the remote to the right and the signal is picked up, I move the remote slightly to the left and the signal is not recieved by the OMNILINK. The only location that works 100% of the time is about 2 inches from the OMNILINK. I do not have lighting yet so I cannot determine whether it is an OMNILINK or remote problem yet...

Now here is something more troubling: I was told by Monster that they were shipping me another OMNILINK over a week ago. I am still waiting... I will call tomorrow to find out what is going on.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Were you able to resolve your omni link issues? Did monster send you the new omnilink? Are you still happy with your avl 300?
