Hi guys,

I need some help from you guys who has gone through this stage. I'm slightly renovating my home theartre lounge room. First thing I'm going to do is to replace my old traditional lights with Halogen lights. (Like the picture below)

And I came across a website that tells you that quartex halogen light sources omit ultra violet radiation. I don't know what quartex halogen light sources are but does this say all the halogen lights actually omit these? Could anyone tell me if this is going to be too seroius for anyone to consider halogen lights?

And in addition, do you recommend me to go with LED lights instead? What do they look like? Is it also warm, bright light similar to Halogen lights?

Just a FYI. Omit = leave out, Emit = to throw off.

The majoarity of LED bulbs on the market now look blueish, I would avoid for overall lighting unless you can find some bulbs you really like.
