Since I am only interested in one movie from Paramount, has Paramount confirmed or announced a release date for the Transformers? I might be interested in picking up a low priced HD-DVD player this holiday season if they did. If they didn't than all the hoopla surrounding the Paramount deflection is moot.

101 views and no one can confirm a release date? I tried to do a search for "Transformers release date" but didn't find anything. Can someone confirm that Transformers is coming to HD-DVD and when?

Yes I believe it 10/4 or 11/4 either way it will be out before Xmas..

The latest rumor has said it will arrive 10/16.

But, Paramount has not officially announced a date, but there is no doubt it will be available by this holiday season.

Paramount did mention Transformers in the press release and also said new movies would be day and date. They havent even announced a date for the DVD version so be patient.

So, you'd consider only buying 1 movie on HD DVD out of the 100s available and the 1000s that the studios own?

Nice. I suppose you magically want to own more BD.

You'd probably get a better response if you didn't post in such an antagonistic manner.
