Any good products for wall mount surge protection? Existing finished walls, looking for protection with slim line area (behind flat mount 40" LCD TV)

Any examples?

can you access running wire in the wall between your equipment and TV?

Not easily... Would have to do some drywall digging to do that...

How slim does it need to be? How are you going to run power to set?

Panamax In-walls have a surge protector in them, and they are recessed. They also have inserts for component runs that also provide line protection. The inwalls I am talking about retail for about $70 without any inserts. They look good (for something behind your TV) and they are easy to install. Here is a link of what they look like installed.

interfx, do you already have a a/c outlet behind the TV? If yes then you're looking for a slim SP to mount on the wall behind the TV? Or do you need to get power to behind your TV?

I have an electrical outlet on the wall, and also a cable outlet... Basically wanted to know how slim of a surge protector I can get to "hide" behind the TV. I'm mounting the TV on a flat mount, so I don't have alot of room behind the TV...

Just replace the outlet with this...

Or you can find these at lowes or HD for about $40.
