I don't have a land line.

I am hoping that there are succinct instructions on this site about how to do two things:

1) I need to know how to take my HR10-250 to my neighbor's and force a call to update and, hopefully, take care of some of its slowness. (In two years, I've never had it make a call.)

2) I need to know how to take my new HR20 to my neighbor's and do whatever it is I need to do to get it up and running after the installer does his thing at my house next weekend.

Thank you in advance. I couldn't find what I was looking for using search. (As a footnote, I plan to use my HR10-250 in a second bedroom with a 4:3 TV.)
