Thought I saw "The One" available on HD DVD about a year ago, but can't find it now. Am I losing my mind?

just did a quick look through the pq/aq sticky and master list thread. didn't see it. there's a few other martial arts action hd dvds. but i don't recall ever seeing The One on this format, yet.

you might be thinking of Unleashed.

Other than that I think the only other Jet Li movies out are Fearless on HD DVD and Kiss of the Dragon on blu-ray.

I would totally buy "The One," though, if it were on HD DVD.

I thought The One is not one of Li's best. I'd really like Fist of Legend on HD DVD.

Unleashed stinks in my opinion... I loved Fearless though.

'The One' is a sony flick, so you won't see it on HD DVD anytime soon (nor have you in the past) :)

No, Jet wasn't the one on HD DVD.

The One was cool (if a bit fluffy). Unleashed was his worst movie (and up there in worst movies of all time). Avoid like the plague.

"The One" is a Screen Gems/Columbia title. I too would like to get that in Hi-Def

Surprised at all the hate for Unleashed...it's easily one of his best movies IMO, because it actually felt like a MOVIE, not just a series of action scenes strung together with a few filler dialogue scenes...of course, Fearless kicks it's ass, but still....

I thought Unleashed was really good.

Unleashed was great at the theatre, and even better in HD-DVD. If "The One" is released in HD, I'm all over it.

I don't see much talk about it, probably sleeping still... but Fearless was a good movie. It was the first HDM film I watched after initially starting my collection of 12 movies. Good sound and picture. And as Jet Li said himself in the movie supplements... it was his last picture ever.

Recommend all who never heard about it, Fearless is a good HD movie.

I dont think he ever said it was his last film ever, he says it was his last "wushu" film ever.
