Thats a very interesting and level headed article. I find the comments from Kelley Avery very illuminating.

She's basically saying "neither format is selling very well so we're going to go with the one that's cheaper (for us and the consumer) and easier to publish on".

The only reason Parmount went HD DVD only was because they got paid 300 billion and were promised Bill Gates first born son. It cant be because Blu Ray is crap :rolleyes:

I'm really glad that this move was held off until now. The stunning effect of this story brought hundreds of thousands of peopls attention to the format they didn't know exist. Thanks to stores like Best Buy putting the HD DVD display in the back. Now, just before Christmas, people are aware of HD DVD because of this story, and that the players are actually affordable and great. If this happened sooner people may already be forgetting about the formats all together. Perfect timing.

Great find by the way. Anyone here members of the Blu-Ray site? If so, you should post that story. I'm sure it will get you banned but who cares. It may change one persons mind. I'd do it but that web site pisses me off.
