Hi,
I'm trying to install MythDora 4.0 from DVD. I've error checked the DVD, and I've entered the installation process, choosing 'text mode' because the GUI mode wouldn't work.
Anyway, when I get to the partitioning setup, I tell it to use the free space and create a default install. However, this won't work. It tells me that I have not defined a root partition, or maybe that I don't have enough space. I have 80GB of free space with two other primary partitions and one extended partition.
Is this an install bug, or am I overlooking something? It would seem that the partitioner would create the swap and data partitions for me. If I have to manually create the partitions, I'll need help in choosing the config, please :-)
Notes:
- BootIt NG is installed in a primary partition (and in the MBR - I want MythDora to confirm bootloader install location -- to root, not MBR)
- WinXP Pro is on a primary partition.
- The extended partition is composed of two logical partitions, a 1.5GB ntfs swap, and a 180GB ntfs data one.
- I have 1GB of RAM
- I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR2 USB2 capture device connected now.
- video card is nVidia GeForce FX5200 (NV34) currently connected by S-Video to a TV. This may be replaced with an LCD-TV connected via DVI in the future.
- CPU is a 3.0 GHz Pentium.
Thank you for any help, or a pointer to a different place to ask this question.

UPDATE: I couldn't find them at first, but I did find forums dedicated to MythDora and posted my question there:
