I plan to build my HCPC, and use a linux system.
For the moment I've tried quickly Freevo and i will test Linux MCE soon.
Does anyone compared both systems ?
What are the pros and cons of each ?
I'd like to have a system ready to play h264/1080p (eventually able to compress h264 / 1080p) files with HDMI output ?
Is video uncompressing (compressing) done by the GPU or the CPU (both systems) ?
I am in France, so I'd like to have TV recordings working ok in France, EPG too...
Any advice appreciated...
