Home depot has something similar but it is more flexible. Its a thick bendable screen material.

you could also try rockler.com they have everything to build entertainment centers. and just about anything else you can imagine, including your own coffin LOL

I used the Home Depot metal mesh and while it looks OK it had major acoustic problems so I scrapped it.

Great find! Looks better than the stuff at HD or Lowes.

Type in Wire mesh in the search box. Be sure to read the "about wire mesh" link
There is also multiple other types of mesh.
Type in mesh grill and look around

In the metal wire mesh there is everything from stainless to titanium

If you are looking for wire mesh, or wire cloth, check out this place...

http://www.bwire.com/

Bought from them before, they have 2 warehouses full of inventory of all sizes, alloys, and shapes of wire mesh.

That material is sometimes referred to as perforate metal - different than expanded metal.

the material used for security screens on windows is closely related to what you are looking for.

try googling "perforated metal"

They are both very different and often have several different qualities and uses.

I placed me order with Belleville Wire Cloth in NJ.

http://www.bwire.com/

They had service that cannot be matched. Low price and my large quantity order of wire mesh material at a 4 x 4 mesh was shipped to me within 24 hours at which point I was tracking my package all the way....

A suggestion for you all.
