Hi, just got the Harmony 880, and it is truly awesome. A bit of a hassle to set up, but pretty amazing. Read the PS3 and will try it tomorrow if my bluwave arrives from amazon. One question though.

I use my PS3 with my PJ (via HDMI) and my TV (via component), and therefore I have to switch the video and audio output settings whenever I switch between TV and PJ (e.g. between component and HDMI for video and between HDMI and AV multi for audio). Is there any way to "macro" this process? It's a bit of a pain to always do this but I'm not sure if you can enter multiple key inputs like a macro.

Any help would be great, thanks!

Set up 2 activities... "PS3 on PJ" and "PS3 on TV".

Decide which one you use most often, and use this as a "base line", with the PS3 set up for this output. (i assume the settings you need to change are on the PS3?)

For the other activity, select "Customize", then "Run the activity setup again" (using the web based setup) OR "Settings", "Review the settings for this activity" (using the desktop software)

Select "Next" until you get a screen that says "are these settings correct?". Select "Yes, but I want to add more control"

You will then get a screen where you can add commands (macros) to the activity start and/or end sequence.

Add the commands to select the correct modes to the activity start sequence, and the commands to return the PS3 to the settings for the "base line" activity to the activity end sequence.

Your question kind of confuses me, but I think all you need to do is set up an Activity. In an Activity you can have the remote set your receiver to a certain input, set your TV to a certain input, and then end up with using whatever buttons you've assigned for the PS3.

I just reread your question, and if you're asking if you can use the harmony to change the Audio settings or Video settings on the PS3 with a single button push then the answer is "no." The PS3, even with the Nyko, doesn't have discreet commands for that.
I think you need to find a way to make both the PJ and the TV share the same output of the PS3.

...Add the commands to select the correct modes to the activity start sequence, and the commands to return the PS3 to the settings for the "base line" activity to the activity end sequence.

I don't think that's gonna work with the PS3's XMB. You'd have to set up something like "LEFT LEFT LEFT DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN RIGHT DOWN DOWN DOWN RIGHT..." Even if you somehow managed to get the timing right if you started from Network instead of Video who knows what setting you might be changing?

I'd be amazed if someone could get that to work, and even more interested to learn how they did it.
