Just purchased an unused refurb 30000 and seem to be having a minor D-theater playback problem, maybe its just a setup issue you 30000 experts could help me with.
During playback of only D-theater (other DVHS tapes playback fine) I get a brief video/audio breakup at random intervals, probably about once every 2 or 3 minutes. Most are barely noticeable, others are as long as a 1 second freeze or breakup of the picture, this happens on both the component and firewire outputs. The tapes playback fine on my JVC 5U so I have pretty much ruled out the tapes as being the problem.
The only setup change I made in the menu was "720-1080" instead of the default 480. Any other suggested menu changes?
