Hi,

I just had an older box die on me and drove to Comcast to receive my new dch 3416. The picture is great; however, I cannot get any information or guide to display. I know the remote works as I can change channels and power off the unit and go to menu (that is the only time I can go to menu). It's almost like no annimation will display. I have fooled around with the different types of input on the "powered off menu" with no luck.

I was told by my CSR to bring it back and try another new box which I may be forced to do. But something just tells me there is a setting I am missing...

What video connection to your Display Device are you using?

HDMI, Firewire, Component, S-Video, Composite, RF ????

It was composite but the issue seemed to fix itself. I guess it needed more than two hours to download the data...
