These look a lot like the Studio Collection from Coaster, but are cheaper than I can find the coasters. I like the looks of them, and this online dealer seems good with free shipping. I did a search and only found one thread mentioning them. Does anyone here have them? How comfortable are they? Has anyone compared these to some of the other popular models between $900-$1300? And finally, does anyone have any pics of them set up in a theater? Thanks in advance for any help!

Shipped price for Coaster Studios is $1129 via the HTA power buy (see sticky at the top of this forum), vs. $995 for these. If you're buying two rows, the price difference drops from $134 to $89.

Are the "popcorn and drinks holder" two different things on the same armrest? I'd email the seller and ask for more photos. And what's the warranty? Looks like the basic one is less than 1 year, and you'll spend $100 to upgrade it to a year or more. The Studios come with 1 year on the seat and lifetime on the recline mechanism.

After warranty, sounds like dead heat pricing to me. There are probably stores that carry the Coasters near to you so you can sit in them and decide for yourself. Don't know about the others.

Best of luck!

I'm not terribly worried about the warranty to be honest. I was thinking about trying to talk the seller down $100, as I was originally considering the Matinee. My ceiling is $1000, it is already $300 more than what I was looking to spend so I just can't justify any more than that at all. If I could get the Studios for $1000 shipped I'd be done, but I don't think that's possible.

I'm only looking to do one row, BTW, my back row is already movie theater seats. This is an upgrade from a leather sofa I have already for the front. Thanks for the feedback though
