I just received my 5 free Blu-ray movies. I selected:

Invincible
Corpse Bride
Stealth
Black Rain
Transporter 2

I received only 2 of the titles i wanted:

Invincible
Corpse Bride

And received the following INSTEAD of what I requested:

Resident Evil 2
Babel
Species

I vaguely recall reading a thread with a phone number to call, but my forum seach came up empty.

Can anyone provide the phone number?
Anyone have the same problem?
If so what was the outcome?

The anti-consumer attitude here has gotten to be extreme.

Last time I took back Res Evil and the BR remote for the PS3 and got fam guy vol 4 and Hot Fuzz...

What do you mean "anti-consumer?" He didn't pay for the disks and I'm sure if you READ THE FINE PRINT, it states "while supplies last" which means that they have the OPTION to send him replacements. Nowhere on the offer does it state that all items are GUARANTEED to be in stock.

He does have other options to pursue instead of just feeling like he got cheated out of something. Trade, Sell, or give them away if you truly don't want them.

didn't we have a debate in here a while back because someone got some free HD DVDs with burn marks on the cover - so he decided to sell his player and ditch the format entirely over that. and that's ok - that's "acceptable" behavior from the consumer?

But this poor guy gets the wrong titles altogether- and that's ok? there's nothing wrong - in fact it's HIS fault for not reading the fine print. and it's also ok to steal from Walmart?

yeah, this happened to me as well.. except i got the wrong ones... AND i didnt get them all, only got 4 out of 5. They fixed my situation real good though.. sent me 4 more titles.. and let me keep the ones i already got... bringing my total of movies to 8 free ones.

Chris, if it makes you feel any better, RESIDENT EVIL 2 and BABEL are way better than the three movies you didn't get. Can't say much for SPECIES, though.

There is a disclaimer when you order these movies where it says if they do not have the specific titles that you requested they will substitute with other movies to fill the 5 free movies. I personally like the 3 movies they sent you instead of what you requested. But, there is a reason you requested those movies. I would either A. bring them to Wal*Mart and try and exchange them or B. call the promotion team and see if you can get the order fixed.
