Warner Bros for me. Universal a close second, Sony-Columbia would be third, then dis/buena, fox and lionsgate tie, and the only paramount title I have is the blu shooter.

Surprisingly, Universal+StudioCanal/Kinowelt lead the list (I consider them as studio family, since each Studiocanal and Kinowelt disc carries the Universal logo).

Of the one's I have on hand (I think I have at least 10 on the way) here's the breakdown:

3. Sony - 7
4. Warner - 7
5. Fox - 5
6. LionsGate - 1

For a total of 35. I'm counting Planet Earth as Warner, cuz I don't recall who distributes it off the top of my head; but know it's dual format.

I'll have to check the one's I have on order. Note that my Warner collection would be bigger if they would release more of the so-far HD DVD exclusives on BD. Also, Paramount titles are weighted a little more as I bought all the ones I wanted from them once they announced no more BD. Also note that 5 of these in this collection were free, one from each studio.

I've had my PS3 since the first of July, so we'll see how things go from here. I would expect Warner, Fox, Disney, Sony to be waited higher than Uni or Para (for obvious reasons) going forward. Uni may be my least popular studio, now that I think about it. They have a few great movies, but not a large quantity of them. Favorite studio for quantity & taste overall is Warner.

I have no idea. I can't say that I look at the studio when buying a title except to see if they are format neutral in which case I will usually get the HD DVD version.

well take a look at the logos on the spine and see if one jumps out at ya. That's how I noticed. I don't have a favorite studio. Just thought some community info on teh subject might be of interest.

Universal because I only have HD DVD. When I will start buying BD it will be Universal and Fox.

Warner + Universal.

Warner dominates my HD-DVD collection. It's because of the $13 catalog sales at Fry's. Moreover, all of the nature stuff from Discovery/BBC and National Geographic comes from Warner as well.

Sony (MGM/Orion/Columbia) has the biggest chunk of my HD collection (about 1/3 of my titles) followed by Universal. This is even with considering DVD collections like Rescue Me and Heroes as one title. I'm not a big fan of Warner and Paramount movies although I love their television shows, so for me going dual format was a must from the start.

Maybe proof that paramount wasn't the megaton everyone thought it was.

And I lean toward the red side, so this is not a "blu-ray is ok!" post

No one major studio. Right now I probably have the most high def in Sony but it's probably not more than by a few titles. If I remember, i'll itemize tonight.

Sooooooooo... if Warner decides to back a certain format then THAT may be the straw to break the proverbial digital camels high definition back. And so far all their love has been going to the red team with what appear to be "timed exclusives" such as Matrix, V, Potter. If you play video games than you know all about the "timed exclusives"(they stink! In or out buddy!). Wonder if that means that Warner is leaning red. Do they like the combo disc idea(I do, for the kiddies), or receiving payola from Toshiba (no clue but I doubt it.)?

I am not going pretend to have any idea as to why. But if Warner walks down the red path than I would imagine disney/buena/miramax to be hot on their heels. Disney thought divx ruled for god's sake. And look at my screen name before you say I hate blu-ray. My collection reached the perfectly neutral 22 blu and 22 red two nights ago! (Thank you T2 and Running Scared imports.)
