I added a generic activity to my Harmony to control the use of my Mediagate MG35. (a networked streamer for video and music). The device can be found under MediaPC's (under the manufacturer AL- Tech) and I had no trouble finding and adding it.
My problem is when I select that generic activity the Harmony switches the components over correctly but then seems to stop sending signals. In other words, you press a button, the green light signal indicator doesn't come on, and nothing gets controlled. It won't control my Receiver volume or the MG35 itself. I can run through Help and it will make sure everything is on correctly but once it finishes it goes back to not sending any signals.
All my other activities function perfectly.
Has anyone else encountered this or can point me in the right direction towards solving the problem?
I've deleted both the device and activity and re-entered them numerous times. I've taught the remote the IR commands from the original remote. Still, I always end up in this non-sending state when I run the activity.
Thanks in advance.
