MOST OUTRAGEOUS CLAIM either format can make on the Insider thread. Since the new rule does not allow anyone, Insiders or non-insiders, to debate any post, in seems to be that anyone can basically say most anything in response to a cream-puff question. And please don't use specific names.

So I'll go first,

Someone will ask a Blu-ay insider what BD50 yields are, and the reponse will be 99.95%.

Ok, your turn.

What is your response to the greater capacity and bandwidth claims of blu-ray?

We have within the hd dvd specification quad layer 68GB discs with 4x spin speed, which maybe backward compatible with previous players.............eventually.

John.

Someone will ask about the status of 200gb bd-rom, and an insider will answer that it is playing on current hardware.

Oh wait, that already happened, nevermind

Hmm, Hitachi showing 200GB BD-ROM discs playing back on current hardware seems somewhat significant to me.

"POTC cannot be done on HD DVD, because HD DVD is not good enough"

Total bull. Let's see Disney actually put this on HD DVD, then we will have a fair comparison.
