A simple question for you guys (I think).
I will be buying a 360 in a week or so and I would like to connect to xbox live. I never hooked up the old xbox so I'm not familiar with the set up.
I have a room mate and our modem (AT@T) is connected to his pc in another room, my laptop has a wireless card in my room. I don't want to spend money on extra equipment for a wireless hook up. Another issue is my room mate is gone most of the time when I am home and can be problematic to deal with some times. If his pc needed to be involved at all (downloading software ect.) it could be a hassle for me.
So can I just run a cable from the modem to the 360-thats it? no envolvement on his part?
oh and does the wireless controller come charged out of the box, or do you have charge before you play?
Thanks for any help.
